Hello Friends of the Theater!
We want to inform our community that Mr. Noel Harris has stepped down from his role as theater director at South Plantation High School. We are grateful for the dedication and energy he brought to the Paladin Players over the past year. His enthusiasm made a meaningful difference, and we wish him continued success in all that lies ahead.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we are beginning the search for a new director to lead this dynamic and long-standing program. The position oversees a well-established theater department known for it's work in theater for the deaf. While experience with the deaf and hard of hearing community or familiarity with ASL is certainly beneficial, it is not a requirement. What matters most is a sincere willingness to learn- our support network is strong, and no one steps into this role alone.
Our feeder school, Seminole Middle, continues to cultivate one of the district's strongest middle school theater programs, providing a steady pipeline of talented young performers eager to grown.
The administration at South Plantation His School is deeply committed to the arts and is eager to welcome a new director as soon as possible to continue this important and inspiring work.
If you or someone you know may be a great match for this opportunity, please feel free to reach out to us or contact the school directly.
And as always, thank you for your continued support of the theater arts at South Plantation High School!
Are you the right candidate? Send your resume directly to the principal of South Plantation High School, Mrs. Ries!
